Banking Software developer

Lux-AS Consulting is looking for a Banking Software developer on behalf of one of its main clients, an international Bank based in Luxembourg. This opportunity is a consulting role for a long term and sustainable assignment:

As a Banking Software developer, here are your main tasks:

• Analysis and developments on core banking systems, within the framework of different projects

• Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices

• Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical and functional needs

• Create and maintain software documentation

• Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.

Profile:

• Holds a university degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field

• 3 years’ experience within Software Engineering

• Relational database concept (Oracle, DB2, etc.) / Query type language (SQL, My SQL,) / Programming experience with any core banking system is mandatory

• Knowledge of one or more flows related to the banking field (securities transactions, compliance, securities files, regulatory reporting)

• Fluent in English and French
